Q1 2021 Tower Defense Game Trends in Latin America on Android

Sensor Tower's data provides a fascinating look into the Android Tower Defense gaming category in Latin America for the first quarter of 2021. The top five games, each with unique trends, have shown varying degrees of engagement and success during this period.

Starting with Plants vs Zombies™ 2, published by ELECTRONIC ARTS, we observed a decrease in weekly revenue from $21.6K to $15K, while downloads started at 215K and experienced a mid-quarter dip before rising to 165K. The game's weekly active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 2.46M, dipping in February, and then slightly recovering to end the quarter at around 2.35M.

Final Fate TD by GameSword saw its revenue drop from $11.9K to just above $600, with downloads peaking in late December at 4.2K before falling to zero towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users also saw a decline, from 14.5K to 5.7K.

Random Dice: Defense, published by 111%, saw its revenue decrease from $2.7K to under $500. Downloads peaked at 1.6K in late December, followed by a decline to 370 by the end of March. The game's weekly active users also saw a downward trend, from 18.8K to 11.8K.
